Abstract

Advanced electricity transmission and distribution technologies improve quality of power and increase the reliability of the distribution network which benefit the consumers at large. Smart Grid, Micro Grid, Energy Storage, Alternative Power Resources, Energy Efficiency, Demand and supply Response are some areas in which R&D activities are progressively making headway so as to improve the quality of distribution.
