Abstract

       Turkey and Egypt are of great importance in the region, each with its political and economic weight and regional role, one of the similarities between the two countries is what distinguishes it from the rest of the Middle East, and gives the research special importance.


        The Turkish military played a prominent role in controlling and dominating civilian political power, which made it interfere whenever it found that parties and governments had departed from the Ataturk principles founded by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, founder of modern Turkey, the coup of May 27, 19 60 Military in Turkey is one of the most important internal events in Turkey, and international positions have come different from it according to its relations with Turkish Prime Minister Adnan Mendres (1950-1960) and his government, especially Egypt, whose relations with the latter and his governments were bad in those Duration due to Turkey's orientation to the West and the implementation of US policy in the region.
