Abstract

Themajor goal of this research is todetermine the effectiveness of MALL during Covid-19in the setting of Gujarat, India, based on the perspectives of ESL students at the universitylevel. The theoretical basis for the study is Davis's Technology Acceptance Model (TAM),which he proposed in 1986. The study used the TAM framework, which focuses on twofactors: perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEU) (PEOU). The purpose ofthis model in this study is to better understand students' behaviour and attitudes regardingmobile technology. Both qualitative and quantitative research designs are used in the study.Thedatawasgatheredfrom ahundredUGandPGlevelstudents(50malesand50females)at CHARUSAT's Humanities and Social Science Department. According to the students'opinionsonsmartphones, thetwovariableswerefoundtobeworkinginthecurrentstudy.
