Handling EFL Classes: Defects and Advice Reforms

Abstract
The basic aim of this study is to investigate from supervisor's and teacher's perspectives the mistakes that English teachers make in managing their classes; then it considers pieces of advice reforms from teachers and supervisors. Data were collected by undertaking a semi-structured interview on the mistakes of classroom management were used. A random sample of 84 teachers (40 males & 44 females) and four supervisors (2 males & 2 females) took part in the study in Zarqa District in the academic year 2015- 2016. Findings demonstrated teachers' defects in using clear classroom rules, coping with disruptive behavior, organizing group work, and further in communicating with parents. The following tips were deduced from the responses of interviews questions which can help to prevent a chaotic environment during classroom activities, listen to students, work in groups and try to solve their problems.
