Abstract

The education sector is the first and basic pillar in the progress and development of societies, and it is one of the most basic needs of man. Education moves society from a backward and illiterate society to a developed society capable of keeping pace with scientific, technological and cultural progress. Here comes the role of higher education and its institutions to achieve what planners aspire to, and university educational institutions are A large group of these institutions are located in the province of Karbala, as they represent a large population weight, as represented by (9) university institutions, namely (Karbala University, Technical Institute, Ahl al-Bayt University, Al-Hussein College, Al-Zahrawi College, Al-Tuff College, Al-Warith University, Al-Ameed University, University of Zahra), the spatial distribution has been   These universities in Karbala governorate reinforced this with geographical maps and the descriptive aspect.
