Survey on Coverage Hole Optimization in WSN

Abstract

The Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) plays a significant function in today's environment. In general, WSN is widely used in IoT automation. The WSN's sensors will communicate with one another to share the information they've gathered. One of the most common challenges in Wireless Sensor Networks is the issue of coverage. A number of algorithms have been developed to address the coverage issue. We look at a range of coverage maximisation tactics in this survey. Coverage maximisation strategies are divided into groups based on their effectiveness. The merits and downsides of the algorithms are assessed in light of the surrounding circumstances.
