This review paper explores the positive impact of yoga on general well-being, highlighting its benefits in the physical, mental, and social spheres. It tells us about the place of yoga in contemporary medicine, its use in chronic disease management and the scope for improving mental health. It also tells about the increasing popularity of yoga across different demographics and how it impacts society on a social level in community building and interpersonal relationships.
